Les trois californiennes de L.A. WITCH viennent tout droit de Los Angeles. Ou plutôt d’un vieux motel hanté aux abords de Hollywood.
Ayant pour idoles The Brian Jonestown Massacre, My Bloody Valentine, Spacemen 3, ou de manière plus générale les groupes garage des 60’s, elles produisent des morceaux oscillant entre psyché noir 70’s, grunge 90’s, et surf rock ensanglanté. Pour beaucoup, leur son lo-fi et saturé n’est pas sans rappeler les Black Angels ou les Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, version féminine.
Après avoir tourné aux côtés de The Kills, elles ont sorti en février dernier leur dernier album « Drive Your Car »

Wow, this French psychedelic punk-rock band are something else – and that’s not something I say often. Formed in Paris in 2010, Black Luna is an all-female psychedelic trance band mixed in with some heavy punk rock, they’ve just released their debut album “Death Alley” and you should definitely check them out; their song ‘Fly Inside’ has an instant grab with that throwback to the seventies guitar.
