The musicians are constantly traveling between Paris\, Reims\, Constance and Switzerland. Raskolnikov play a dark and torn hypnotic music\, and gets its name from the main character of Dostojevski’s «Crime and Punishment».\nThe band began by recording and auto-producing their debut 7 tracks album\, «Hochmut kommt vor dem Fall» in June 2016 at Studio Château Rouge in Annemasse\, France. The album has been mixed and mastered in July 2016 by Claude Lander at Taurus Studio in Geneva. Raskolnikov released the bewitching and powerful song called « Stockholm »\, a coldwave song with post-rock inspirations. The 7 original songs of this first album have been deeply influenced by the late 70’s and early 80’s post-punk and new-wave rock bands. It has been released on 18th october 2017 by the label Manic Depression records. After playing more than twenty gigs in 2017\, Raskolnikov are willing to schedule a new tour early 2018 in Europe.
