DESCRIPTION:Le jeune virtuose londonien Riley Stone-Lonergan est reconnu comme l’un des meilleurs saxophonistes de la scène anglaise. \nProfessionnel dès l’âge de 16 ans\, soutenu comme jeune talent par Yamaha\, il a remporté de nombreux prix à ce jour (Memorial Prize for Jazz Saxophone\, Rising Star Award\, John Scheerer Prize for Woodwind and David Hoult Prize for Outstanding Performance…). Il s’est produit aux Etats-Unis\, en Allemagne\, Pologne et a pu étudier auprès des plus grands (Seamus Blake\, Chris Cheek\, Rich Perry et Joel Frahm…). \nEblouissant par son jeu\, il nous propose compositions à l’identité forte\, mais également celles du pianiste Fabrice Tarel\, qui a vécu quelques années outre-manche. \nEtoile montante de la contrebasse\, l’excellent Michel Molines se joint à l’équipe\, ainsi que Andy Barron\, le plus « british »\, des batteurs français qu’on ne présente plus.
