DESCRIPTION:@ Le Farmer \n★ TODAY IS THE DAY (US) – Noise rock / Experimental metal / Hardcore\nL’esprit torturé de Steve Austin donne naissance à Today Is The Day en 1992. Après une première sortie autoproduite\, le groupe est rapidement repéré puis signé sur Amphetamine Reptile (Mudhoney\, Melvins\, Tad\, Unsane).\nLe gang de Nashville a marqué au fer rouge le petit monde de la musique extrême par sa créativité et son originalité\, notamment avec la sortie de Temple Of The Morning Star en 1997 (Relapse Records)\, qui a posé les jalons pour toute une génération de groupes souhaitant s’aventurer dans le côté sombre et expérimental du noise-rock.\nDepuis\, Today Is The Day a mené une carrière exemplaire rythmée par la livraison régulière de galettes quasi incontournables\, accueillant en son sein quelques-uns des musiciens les plus talentueux du circuit: Michael Hide (Burning Spear\, Ziggy Marley)\, Brann Dailor et Bill Kelliher (Mastodon)\, Derek Roddy (Hate Eternal\, Nile) pour ne citer qu’eux. Le groupe réédite cette année l’opus susmentionné à l’occasion de son 20ème anniversaire et s’offre une tournée spéciale à ne rater sous aucun prétexte.\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hr-Ke95p6M0 \n★ FASHION WEEK (US) – Noise Rock / Grunge / Post-Hardcore\nEn ouverture\, les New Yorkais de Fashion Week (Solar Flare). Le groupe s’est formé par le chanteur/guitariste Joshua Lozano et le bassiste Oscar Rodriguez à New York\, en 1987. Fashion Week a traversé une succession de batteurs\, mais seul Carl Eklof est resté le plus longtemps (qui a rejoint le groupe en 1990\, après la dissolution des légendaires hardcore DC « Shout »).\nÀ la fin des années 1980\, Fashion Week se fait rapidement un nom dans le milieu noise/rock/hardcore New Yorkais. They toured with bands Sete Star Sept\, Deaf Kids and opened for Aura Noir\, Doom\, Integrity plus many more.\nSATAN’s discography consisted in 4 splits shared with worlwide bands and a 2015 LP\, « L’odeur du sang »\, produced by Yann Ha (Habsyll\, Cober Ord).
